Being someone who loves both dogs and cats, it’s important to me to have a business that’s equally dedicated towards both types of animals. I see so many brands that either only offer products for one pet type; or that offer products for both, but still only favor one over the other. I promise to carry the best products for both the kitties and doggos. With also personally owning the smallest dog breed in the world, I value the importance of having a wide variety of sizes available so that every pet; big and small, has most perfect and comfortable fit!

Piper Blue opened its’ internet doors on March 7th, 2020; about a week before the Covid outbreak. Prior to this, I was a hair stylist for about 6 years. My previous career path never felt completely “right”, and near the end it actually ended up causing severe issues with my mental health. At this point, what I needed even more than a new career was a creative outlet that brought joy and inspiration to my life.
That’s when and why I decided to start Piper Blue; inspired by my blue tricolor firstborn chihuahua Piper! I never intended that this would end up being a career; maybe just provide a little bit of side money at best. I was going to be starting a position at an insurance company; which wasn’t something I wanted to do, but I had no idea what else to do as my career. Once the outbreak of COVID-19 hit, the insurance company basically laid me off before I even had my first day of work. Back then this was stressful, but on the flip side it allowed me to turn my full attention to Piper Blue.
Shortly into opening my shop, I started to believe in myself and that maybe this was something I could make a living out of. It was a challenge to say the least; with lots of financial struggles the first 2 years after opening. Even still; I loved it SO much that I stayed dedicated through these struggles to make things work… and eventually they did!
I am so thankful to each and every one of you that have supported my brand at some point throughout this journey. Being able to do something that I love is a blessing. Aside from being able to make a living out of this business, your support has truly made me grow into a stronger and happier person and I am forever grateful for you all!
